🗺️ Full Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Lhasa (3,595m / 11,792 ft) Arrive at Gonggar Airport and transfer to Lhasa. Rest and acclimatize. Overnight near Jokhang Temple.

Day 2 – Lhasa Sightseeing (3,650m / 11,975 ft) Explore Potala Palace, Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street. Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 3 – Lhasa to Shigatse via Gyantse (Gyantse: 3,977m / 13,048 ft; Shigatse: 3,840m / 12,598 ft) Drive across Kamba La Pass (4,794m / 15,700 ft) and Yamdrok Tso Lake (4,441m / 14,570 ft). Overnight in Shigatse.

Day 4 – Shigatse to Saga (4,640m / 15,223 ft) Long drive via Lhatse and Ngangtso Lake. Overnight in Saga.

Day 5 – Saga to Lake Manasarovar via Darchen (Lake Manasarovar: 4,590m / 15,060 ft; Darchen: 4,670m / 15,322 ft) Cross Mayum-La Pass (5,216m / 17,108 ft). Overnight near Darchen.

Day 6 – Kailash Kora Day 1: Darchen to Dirapuk Gompa (Dirapuk: 4,910m / 16,102 ft) Begin the sacred trek from Tarboche to Dirapuk Monastery. Overnight in guesthouse.

Day 7 – Kailash Kora Day 2: Dirapuk to Zutulpuk (Drolma-La Pass: 5,630m / 18,466 ft; Zutulpuk: 4,790m / 15,711 ft) Cross the highest point of the pilgrimage. Overnight in guesthouse.

Day 8 – Kailash Kora Day 3: Return to Darchen & Lake Manasarovar (Darchen: 4,670m / 15,322 ft) Complete the Kora and drive back to Lake Manasarovar. Overnight in simple guesthouse.

Day 9 – Manasarovar to Saga (4,640m / 15,223 ft) Retrace the route back to Saga. Overnight in Saga.

Day 10 – Saga to Shigatse (3,840m / 12,598 ft) Drive through the plateau to Shigatse. Overnight in Shigatse.

Day 11 – Shigatse to Damshung (Damshung: 4,200m / 13,780 ft) Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, then drive to Damshung. Overnight in Damshung.

Day 12 – Damshung to Namtso Lake and Return to Lhasa (Namtso Lake: 4,718m / 15,479 ft; Lhasa: 3,650m / 11,975 ft) Explore Namtso Lake for 2–3 hours, then return to Lhasa. Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 13 – Departure from Lhasa (3,595m / 11,792 ft) Transfer to Lhasa Airport for onward flight. End of pilgrimage.
